Where are the standards set in your community for Deaf Education? Employment Opportunities? Communication Access? Deaf Rights? What improvements have been made in the last 20 years? What are the most pressing struggles still prevalent in your community today? What needs to happen to bring about productive changes in the next 20 years?

These are the types of questions Dave and Christy will ask Deaf leaders of many nations as they travel around the world. They will be conducting a cross-cultural comparison of the opportunities available to various international Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities. Interviews with Deaf community leaders will be arranged utilizing interpreting services in each country. The goal is to identify and draw awareness to current issues demanding immediate improvement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities.
